- NewPassenger Seat is out of beta and available to everyone on the App Store. No invite needed.

Better stories, smoother sound, and a new mode
- NewWeird & Interesting mode: a new story style that hunts for the surprising, offbeat, and little-known, the stuff that makes you go wow.
- NewStory Style picker right on the Live screen, so you can switch the flavor of your stories without digging into Settings. Great for long or repeat routes.
- NewDrive Recap: after a Live session, review a tidy list of everything you passed, each with a link to look the place up and open it in Maps, so you can find that spot you drove by.
- NewA friendly cue after your first story of a drive, letting you know more is on the way.
- NewPermissions are now set up during onboarding, with a clear explanation of why each one matters, instead of popping up mid-drive.
- ImprovedStories are more specific and less generic. Instead of the same-sounding town summaries, Passenger Seat leads with the one detail that makes a place worth noticing.
- ImprovedNarration now speaks distances in full, so you hear “1.5 miles” instead of an abbreviation read as letters.
- FixedWhen your navigation or a text interrupts a story, Passenger Seat now finishes the story afterward instead of cutting out partway through.
- FixedYour music no longer stays quiet after an interruption ends.
- FixedLive no longer stalls at startup if the very first location reading is not ready yet.
- FixedThe Live settings now open directly beneath the Live card that toggles them.
