Make the drive
part of the trip.

Passenger Seat narrates interesting landmarks, history, towns, and local stories as renters travel, hands free. Let's build a simple perk that makes every mile feel more connected to the place outside the window.

Where this road started

Two campervan trips. One persistent question.

Passenger Seat grew out of a campervan trip through Ireland in a roadsurfer. A separate Indie Campers trip through Switzerland made the same thing clear: the miles between destinations deserved their own story.

Those drives became the starting point for an app that follows the road travelers actually take and tells them what is worth noticing along the way.

Passenger Seat is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by roadsurfer or Indie Campers.

Why it fits

A travel experience built for the time between stops.

Your renter already chose the scenic route. Passenger Seat gives them more reasons to enjoy it.

01

Turn road time into trip time

Passenger Seat narrates interesting landmarks, history, towns, and local stories as renters drive. The miles between stops become part of the experience.

02

Add a perk that travels

Give renters an experience they can use beyond one campsite or attraction, whether they are crossing a state, circling an island, or taking a weekend loop.

03

Start without a heavy integration

A time-limited access code and a link in an existing renter touchpoint can be enough for a useful first pilot. Deeper ideas can come later.

Ways to work together

Start with the moment that makes sense for your renters.

These are starting points, not a fixed menu. Mix them, simplify them, or bring a completely different idea.

Before pickup

Add it to the pre-trip email

Include a Passenger Seat link and access code with route reminders, pickup details, or the packing checklist, while travelers are still deciding how the trip will feel.

At handoff

Put the road in the welcome kit

Add a small QR card at the counter, in the glove box, or in a welcome bag so the renter discovers Passenger Seat at the moment the keys change hands.

One-market pilot

Test it with one location

Choose one rental station, region, vehicle group, or renter cohort. A focused trial makes it easier to learn what travelers notice and what the team can support.

Bulk access

Include access with a booking

Purchase access for a defined group of renters and position it as an included trip perk, an optional upgrade, or a benefit attached to selected vehicles or routes.

Referral

Share value when travelers join

Explore a referral or revenue-share arrangement when a renter discovers Passenger Seat through your company and later chooses a paid plan.

Reciprocal

Help curious travelers find the right rig

Pair a renter offer with a thoughtful way for Passenger Seat travelers to discover your vans, RVs, destinations, or booking experience.

A practical first test

One small pilot. Four clear steps.

No nationwide rollout or complicated integration on day one. Start where the idea is easiest to learn from.

  1. 01 · Choose

    Pick a useful starting point

Select a market, station, renter segment, or time period that is small enough to manage and meaningful enough to learn from.

  2. 02 · Shape

    Build the offer together

Agree on the access period, code, message, placement, and what a good outcome would look like for both sides.

  3. 03 · Share

Meet renters where they already are

Use an existing email, pickup conversation, QR card, member page, or welcome kit. The first test does not need a complicated launch.

  4. 04 · Learn

Review and choose the next road

Look at agreed signals such as code redemptions, partner-link activity, and renter feedback, then continue, adjust, or try a different model.

Bring the unexpected idea

The road is the limit.
And it goes a long way.

There is no one required program, package, or playbook. If you think Passenger Seat could add something special to your renter experience, bring the idea. Together, a version can take shape around your travelers, your team, and the way you already work.

Frequently asked

Campervan and RV partnership questions.

Have a question that is not here? Send it over. A conversation can start before every detail is figured out.

Who is a campervan or RV partnership for?

Rental fleets, peer-to-peer marketplaces, local campervan operators, RV hosts, destination partners, and other teams that want to make the drive more memorable for travelers.

Does a pilot require a technical integration?

Not necessarily. A first pilot can begin with a link, a time-limited access code, and a placement in a pre-trip email or welcome handoff. Technical integrations can be discussed if the idea proves useful.

Can we start with one station or market?

Yes. A single station, city, route, vehicle group, or renter cohort is a practical way to learn before considering a broader rollout.

How could renters receive access?

Options include a pre-trip email, a QR card at pickup, a welcome bag, an owner message, a member portal, or a booking confirmation. The right placement depends on how your renters prepare for a trip.

What partnership models are on the table?

Possibilities include a short pilot, bulk access, an included renter perk, a referral or revenue-share program, a reciprocal promotion, or a campaign shaped around a region or season. There is no single required format.

Is Passenger Seat safe to use while driving?

Passenger Seat is designed for the driver to choose settings before moving, start the experience, set the phone down, and listen hands free as the drive continues.

Can the partnership use our branding or routes?

Co-branded handoff materials, selected route ideas, and regional campaigns can be explored. The exact scope depends on the pilot and should be agreed before launch.

What should we include when we reach out?

Share who your travelers are, where you operate, the customer touchpoint you have in mind, and any idea you are curious about. A fully formed proposal is not required.

What could your renters hear on their next drive?

Share who your travelers are, where you operate, and the idea you want to explore. It does not need to be a polished proposal.
